Food Science and Technology


Food technology is a branch of food science that deals with the manufacturing processes that produce foods. It is a science that begins with the procedures and principles involved in the processing and preservation of food substances. The goal of food technology research is to develop new methods and systems for keeping food products safe and free of natural toxins such as bacteria and other microorganisms.
